Instructor Analytics

Access to Instructor Analytics in located in the upper left corner of each page of Study Guide content. Clicking the Analytics button will open the Instructor Analytics feature.

Upon launching Analytics, you will land on the Scores tab for the Study Guide chapter you were viewing.

Scores

On the top half of the Scores tab, instructors can:

• View the bar graph to see the distribution of student chapter scores for this chapter across the entire class
• Scroll down to view a list of all students taking the course and their individual Study Guide scores for this chapter as of now
• Use the chapter dropdown to select the analytics for a different chapter

On the lower half of the Scores tab, instructors can:

• View a list of all students and their current Study Guide scores for a chapter
• Sort the list by student first name, last name, or score
• Determine the number of students visible per page
• Navigate to a different page in the student list
• Study Guides not yet started are shown with no score (-)
• Use the chapter dropdown to select the analytics for a different chapter

NOTE: Student chapter scores are updated incrementally over time as students continue to work in each chapter, so the data on this page will change up until the due date for the chapter if one was assigned.

Content

On the Content tab, instructors can:

• View the bar graphs for each learning objective (LO) to see the distribution of student LO scores for each LO across the entire class
• Click to expand a single LO to view each student’s score for that LO
• Use the chapter dropdown to select the analytics for a different chapter

NOTE: Student LO scores are updated incrementally over time as students continue to work in each chapter, so the data on this page may change up until the due date for the chapter if one was assigned.

From Instructor Analytics you can click < Study Guide to return to the chapter you were viewing or access the gradebook for this study guide.
